I always look at my pictures in my amazing iphone when I'm at work of both girls & show new pictures to my lovely co-workers.

Snack

We fed Lucia! Sach & I made a little rice cereal with breast milk. She will be 6 months old tomorrow and we fed her for the first time Sunday. She was pretty confused about the actual mushy cereal. She thought food would be more exciting. She did love the spoon. She likes her green chair. The avocados in this picture are from our yard! The tree was a wedding present. I can't believe she's big enough for food! I kind of want to keep her this size. She's just perfect.

My friend Maude

Maude has visited a few times recently & has become such a big girl! Walking & saying "dog!". She grew out of her shoes all at once and is wearing a fabulous pair of gold maryjanes with everything! I love it. Her eyelashes are SO long. She pushed Lu in her swing and India gave her balls and baby dolls to play with. We love Maude.

Baby pie

There is something about Luc that makes her look more like Sach than India does. This is how she smiles in the morning or when he says hi to her when he gets home from work. I love her smile, it's gigantic.

Another hike!

Babysat the girls for a little while so we could go to mitsuru and share sushi. It was wonderful.

Luckypenny

The other night Lu woke up at around 3 and was talking & sucking on her hands... She's loud & it woke sacha. I woke up too and they were playing. So sach & Lucia & I talked and she kept smiling and squealing! Kicking! Yelling! She was ecstatic. Very happily tucked between us.

Morning

I'm nursing Lucia before getting ready for work. She makes such sweet little noises and sighs. It's dark outside. It will be dark when I get back. Her fuzzy head is so soft. She holds on to my thumb so tight, she is so strong. She is just funny and chubby and sweet. I'll miss you all day, baby Lucia.

Central park

We hung out at the park. Picnic, watched India go down the slides. Lucia loved it & enjoyed the sunshine. Such a very happy baby.

First hike!

Sunday we went on a nice hike. It was just beautiful outside. Lucia had a great time sleeping, nursing, looking around. India is so big and ran on the trail with sach.

Water

Lucia, India & I took a bubble bath yesterday. I needed to bathe both of them and it seemed like a good idea to make it really fun. Lucia hadn't been in a big tub before and was amazed. She loved the warm water and India and I poured bowls of water over her back and shoulders and in front of her so she could grab it! She was laughing at India splashing and India was very sweetly sharing her my little ponies! Lucia was thrilled and tried to devour them. They are so sweet and funny, I could not have been happier.

tiniest fan! She really has a lot of her papa. What a good looking baby she is.

talking

She has so much to say lately, she talks and sighs and grabs our fingers. Lucia is excellent company.
