8 months

Lucia turned 8 months old on Wednesday! She's big & changing so quickly. Sitting in the high chair to eat, laughing and screeching at India, crawling UP the stairs! Oh no! She's unstoppable. I took photos today of her in indias old tutu bathing suit. India was so excited to see her in it! She would like it if Lucia wore a tutu every day. Maybe I'll buy some more. She really is devastating. Sach & I just look at eachother and agree- she's too wonderful. Too cute. When I come home from work she's excited but has to cry until I nurse her. When he comes home she smiles and then buries her face against my shoulder and then peeks up at him like he's Jordan Catalano & ot hurts to look at him. It's adorable.

Pincer grasp

Success! Lucia is picking up broken pieces of baby cereal poofs. She's unstoppable. Sitting in the high chair, laughing with India, trying to grab our food. She walked sideways holding on to the back of the couch & was really thrilled with herself. Two baths today and she could have used three.

hello!

standing by herself! holding onto the edge of her little co-sleeper

Oh Lucia!

She's so funny! I was tickling her and she was biting my nose & laughing so much! I grabbed her belly and she screamed with laughter. I was just cracking up. She's so sweet.

Crawling at last!

Lucia crawled! She has been getting around for a while now but by walking her feet up and scooting. Today we were having a little picnic in the backyard- Julia & Tina are here from NY and we got horchata & el atacor. Lucia wanted some of the chile relleno burrito that Julia & I were sharing and actually crawled. Fast. What a big girl!!!
