Update

We are home today after spending a few nights in the hospital. Lucia had a fever Sunday and we were admitted through the ER. She had a UTI and got iv fluids/antibiotics...she was very brave. So was I. Happy to be home. A few of the RN's remembered me from when India was there as an infant with jaundice and they were all so kind. I knew her pediatrician who took care of India as a baby as well & was so happy to know she was in charge.

Look at that fist, she is so tense when she starts nursing! India was the same, she would hold her hand in a tight fist until she got full and relaxed.

Goodmorning girls!

Here they are, my lovelies. India runs into the room every time Lucia cries to make sure she's ok and to pat her and rub her head. Lucia looks for India when she hears her voice, I know she remembers it from when she was still in my belly. I can't wait for them to play together like Julia and Claire. How wonderful for both of them to have a sister!

Six weeks

Six weeks old! What a big girl!

Hello baby

Look at the chubbiness! Amazing. She must weigh 8 pounds by now, I'll have to check. She loves to nurse & sleeps well about every other night. Not bad. She's much more wakeful and india is having more fun with her-she's very helpful. Her pretty dark hair is getting longer and thicker. Her big blue eyes are so bright. She smiles for sach the most and chuckles in her sleep like a little budah. Sach calls her Lucy or Lucia, I call her Lucia, pennypie, mamas and Lucia pia (this makes india laugh). She is our darling.

Aunt Claire!

She visited for just one night and Lucia made the most of it. Lots of kisses.

Happy halloween

Lucia's very first Halloween! We had a little party and I had too much fun making her little costume- she was sushi complete with little geisha sandals and wasabi & Ginger garnish. It was too cold to take her outside for trick or treating- next year!
